Lisa Vereertbrugghen (1986, Belgium) studied history in Leuven, dance in Berlin and choreography in the School for New Dance Development in Amsterdam. Currently she is based in Brussels where she makes performances, installations and publications bordering the field of choreography. Apart from making her own work she performed for artists Min Oh, Marta Ziólek, Michelle Moura and others.
Mohamed Abdelkarim

After he wrote his Master’s thesis of knowledge engagement at ECAV, Switzerland, Abdelkarim began producing text-based performances. Among other places, Abdelkarim (1983) currently lives and works in Cairo. His performances have been included in Guild Master of Cabaret Voltaire Manifesta11, Zurich, Sofia Underground Performance Art Festival, Bulgaria.

Urok Shirhan (b. 1984, NL/IQ) is a visual artist. Her work explores the politics of image and sound in relation to (national) identity. She holds an MA (Hons.) from Goldsmiths University in London and was a researcher at the Jan van Eyck Academy in Maastricht and Ashkal Alwan in Beirut. Recent presentations include Arnhem Museum; 5th Moscow Biennial for Young Art and Frascati Theatre, Amsterdam.

Recent exhibitions and performances include P/////AKT (Amsterdam), Rongwrong (Amsterdam), KAI10/ARTHENA FOUNDATION (Düsseldorf), La Casa Encendida (Madrid), Moderna Museet (Stockholm). She has been resident at Ca2M and La Casa Encendida (Madrid) and has received the Mondriaan fonds Werkbijdrage Jong Talent for 2016-2017 (The Netherlands).

Mercedes Azpilicueta (AR/IT/NL) just finished her residency at the Rijksakademie van Beeldende Kunsten in Amsterdam. She earned an MFA from the Dutch Art Institute/ArtEZ, Arnhem and a BFA from Universidad Nacional de las Artes, Buenos Aires; where she also did the Artists Program from Universidad Torcuato Di Tella. In 2017 she is a Pernod Ricard Fellow at Villa Vassilieff/Bétonsalon, Paris.
